If you are looking for a bit of historic wedding inspiration you will love the elegant Georgian styling of this divinely pretty photo shoot by Zosia Zacharia in which our vintage style wedding dresses, Esme and Flora featured.
Parkstead house, a Palladian villa built in the 1760s and located just a stone’s throw from Richmond Park provided the perfect backdrop for the shoot. The beautiful original features, including a stunning double exterior staircase, a neo-classical temple and elegantly manicured gardens make it an enticing London wedding venue.
We wanted our bride to embody the soft, whimsical, romantic look of the Georgian era with soft flowing antique lace gowns so the Empire line Esme with it’s delicate Chantilly lace detailing, and the vintage lace Flora paired with an antique blush beaded bridal belt were the obvious choice.
To compliment the dresses Florist Kate created a natural trailing bouquet of Jasmine flowers, Sweetpeas, colourful Caramel Antike and Café Latte English roses, Dahlias and Astrantia. Along with romantic buttonholes featuring English garden roses tied with hand dyed silk ribbon.
For the reception tablescape wedding planner Rachael of Serendipity Weddings matched white linen and elegant bone china with antique silver cutlery & silverware, creating a simple backdrop to the colourful floral display which included extending trailing Jasmine along the length of the table, intertwined between antique silver candle sticks & tea lights.
Keeping the harmony of the blush and coral palette Abby of Cherished Vintage created a stunning jewelled headpiece from once forgotten treasures which paired beautifully with the lace flora dress and blush vintage beaded bridal belt.
A 4 tier wedding cake with pale blue icing, a silver trellis design and hand crafted delicate sugar flowers in the style of trailing Clematis flowers & sweet peas was created by Krishanthi to reflect the over all botanical theme.
