One of the things I love about working in the wedding world is getting to meet interesting like-minded people running small creative businesses with integrity and passion. So when I was asked to join the fab purveyors of party paraphanelia, Pea Green boat along with talented goldsmith Julia Cook of Branch on the Park and the wonderful Hackney florists Rebel Rebel to collaborate in a pretty vintage wedding shoot at The Crown pub on Victoria park, how could I resist ?
There was no hesitation in choosing which dresses our stunning model Zara should wear. Her beautiful huge eyes and cropped hair had me reaching for the clean lines of the slinky Vintage Hollywood wedding dress, Madeleine to compliment the cosy backdrop of the book lined dining room.
And to pile on the glamour Zara wrapped herself up in the divine Mimi shearling shrug as a backdrop for Julia Cook’s stunning carved ruby ring
Excellent purveyors of party paraphernalia Pea Green Boat provided the quirky Mr Bunny and Mrs Fox cake toppers along with the gorgeous laser cut cherry wood table numbers, silver letter balloons and white papel picado flag garland. Their online shop is brimming with ideas and decorative treasures for styling a venue.
Thank you to wedding photographer Ellie Gillard for her sparkling good humour and lovely images.
