Sally Lacock developed a passion for making beautiful clothes at a very young age, inspired by the gift of a hand operated, antique Singer sewing machine and a box full of intricate handmade lace passed on to her by a great aunt.
Equipped with the foundations of a talent for designing and dressmaking, and a desire to create, Sally studied fashion at art school before going on to work as a highly sought after pattern cutter for the likes of Jigsaw,Liberty, Margaret Howell and Betty Jackson.
With a natural preference for beautifully cut, fluid designs, reminiscent of those of the early 20th century, Sally found she was increasingly asked to create bespoke wedding dresses in her particular style for private clients.
Understanding that many modern brides would prefer a more relaxed alternative to the traditional, structured gowns on offer has led Sally to create her own collection of graceful, elegant and ethereal wedding dresses that are made to be worn effortlessly ensuring the bride not only looks, but just as importantly, feels amazing.
