Contrast Texture Bark Ring

This bark textured solid silver ring was inspired by a Birch tree, which has a section of bark that has peeled away leaving a contrasting flaky band around the trunk. 

I have given the inside of the ring a subtle texture, smoothed for comfort in wear and the edges have my signature uneven chipped edge which catches the light to contrast with the textured band. 

Carved by hand in wax and cast in sterling silver in London by the lost wax casting method.

This is a characterful ring to wear everyday and to remind of the beauty of the forest.
